The Advanced Provisioning Allowance (APA) is charged separately to cover operational expenses during the charter. This includes fuel consumption, tender usage, food and beverages, port and marina fees, utilities, communication services, and any additional equipment or special requests.

A typical APA ranges between 25–40% of the charter fee and is provided prior to embarkation. Throughout the charter, the captain manages all expenses transparently. At the end of the charter, a full account is presented, with any unused balance refunded or additional costs settled accordingly.
